Why You Should Have a Digital Camera with You when You Go Out
A Digital camera is a good companion to have with you because good snap shots are often not planned and taken. When you are on your way to office or when you are in the beach and interesting event may take place. If you have your camera ready you will be able to record it to enjoy watching later.
Most cell phones are equipped with cameras of this type. Therefore the need to have a dedicated camera may not arise. However the cell phone cameras are too basic to be used for good photography. Unless you are a professional carrying a compact digital camera is a good option.
Different cameras offer different options. But the compact has almost all the options an amateur is looking for. You have reasonable resolution and sufficient zooming ability and a reasonable memory. In case the memory is not enough you have the option to add more with the use of a memory card.

Hello there, I’m asking a question about the camera listed above. My sister Sadie has had the camera since January, no problems with it until May 8th, our little brother’s birthday. She went to turn on the camera to use it and it didn’t come on. No light, no noise, no sign of life. She has replaced the batteries multiple times in an attempt to fix it, no such luck. When you take the batteries and camera card out and look inside, there appears to be no problems or abnormalities, everything is where it should be. It just won’t turn on. Any ideas as to why or how this problem can be resolved? Again, is the Kodak Easyshare CD82, 12 mega pixels, if that’s any help [I don't think it will be, but you know].

Ok, so this is about 2 friends i have ( i have many friends, I’m talking about those 2 right now). There names are Setareh and Myriam. I knew Myriam ever since we were 5, so we’re best friends (i think). Anyways, she has a boyfriend named Tyler, at 13, and she wanted to invite me to her masquerade party, but she said “she had too many people”. Anyways, Setareh is REALLY bad! Firstly, she has a bad school record, and gets in big trouble really often. Secondly, she hacked onto my msn account and pretended to be me and swore at 1 of my friends at school (we’re all in the same school, oh, and I’m not telling you hat she said to Nat cuz its really bad and I forgot) , so, um… Natalie showed the convo Setareh had with her and showed to a teacher and then the teacher showed to the principal and then the principal called the cops (cuz i guess it’s illegal to do that). So we got called down to the office and ya we spoke with the principal (thank god i wasn’t setareh) Anyways, Setareh got suspended for 2 days. Usually, at school, she’s usually rude and stuff to me and everything and she’s violent (she and Myriam are in the special ed class, just to tell you) Um… also I went to the mall with both of them on Thursday, and we went to shoppers drug mart and they wanted me to take pictures of them holding boxes with condoms(weird) and then post them on facebook. I said ok and i too the photos. Yesterday, my mom dad, and I went to visit my lil’ 9 year old sis at her overnight camp(it was visiting day, that’s why) and the camp made this play. So, as usual, my father forgot to bring his really good camera and said i have to lend him mines So… I just said ok and i let him borrow my digital pink cool pix camera to tape alex(my sister) in the play. Anyways, when the play was done, he told me that he saw the photos of me and myriam and setareh at shoppers drug mart with condoms. My parents already told me that I couldn’t hang out with her, because of the msn thing and some other things. Anyways, Myriam says that she’s kinda a sl*t and ya. My parents said that if setareh hangs out with me and if she comes over, I’ll be grounded for life, and my dad wanted to send the photos to Myriam’s mother (my dad works with her). Anyways, do you agree with my parents with all the things they said? What would you do if you were me? Should I still hang out with Setareh (my friends all hang out with her, except Yuval said that she doesn’t want to be close friends with Setareh in grade 8)? What should I do? Can you give me any extra tips? Please Help!!!

I HATE DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY. there i said it. We could go on for days about the different aesthetics of film vs. digital or the difference in prices but lets just all face it. DIGITAL CAMERAS SUCK. Some people seem to think that film is all grainy, and should only be used now a days for “Experimental shots”. While i do love grain, not all film pictures are blurry photos taken on a holga from urban outfitters! Anyone who knows cameras knows that you can get just as good results with film as with digital. The only reason the “industry”, photojournalism, fashion photography,etc,,,, has taken to digital isn’t even because of cost, it’s because of speed. Digital is instant, film takes some time. And honestly im not some old person who relics the past. My first camera ever was digital! Then I switched to film. The thing is, I would love it if digital could replicate film, i really would, but it cant. This isn’t some philosophical argument.. this is pure fact. Digital is ink going on the paper, Film uses ink that goes directly IN the paper. Film has a soul to it, that digital doesn;t. tAKE ANY! great digital photograph. There are tons out there but can you name any??? No! Why?? BECAUSE DIGITAL ISN’T ICONIC. it fades. film has a power to it that digital will never be able to replicate. and also dont you think its wierd that, if digital cameras really are as good as everybody claims them to be, that we still even use film at all? I mean most people listen to mp3′s. While some may like the nostalgic feel and sound of vinyl, lets be honest, there really isn;t a difference anymore. But why is it that sill so many people use film (who aren’t just old people or hipsters), and that 75% of ALL photographers prefer film over digital.
I think i mght want to work in some field oh photography when im older.
I just hope i dont have to use digital.
