I need some kind of charger to preserve the battery on my atv totally billed by means of the winter.Anyone have any expertise with these 2 sorts of chargers.Which is better?Price isnt a difficulty but if they are quite a lot the same,then why shell out 20 bucks more?

My 1993 Mazda Protege sat for about a week and when i turn the key it clicks now.
I acquired a battery driven jump starter but that did not operate so now I have a Schumacher Battery charger and am trying to charge the battery before paying out the crazy fees to tow it to a garage.
I have a 2 component question- there is setting for cost that is 12 volt/2 amp and 12 volt/ 6amp – which one particular is correct for my car?
Also- if the battery charger does not work, what could it be? It clicks when I turn the key and after i experimented with to jump commence it, it sounded like it wished to flip over but in no way in fact did.
Since I am female I don’t want to be fooled by the mechanic, so many thanks for any input in advance
